Huawei, the global smartphone brand, offers users a new feature, Huawei MeeTime, a Video Calling Application that comes loaded with Huawei’s newest EMUI 10.1 version allowing consumers to make 1080p HD video calls using either Wi-Fi or mobile data. An anytime, all-purpose video calling application in all its splendor, MeeTime supports HD voice and video calls on smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and Visions, making it easier than ever to stay in touch with loved ones. The calls remain clear and fluid even under poor network conditions, keeping you connected wherever you go.

Huawei MeeTime offers video calls that are crystal clear, even in poorly lit environments, and it has a wide range of handy features, including beauty mode, and 360-degree background switching. During a call, you can share your screen and doodle on it for both parties to convey messages to each other even more effectively. For example, show your parents how to use their phones by talking to them and operating on your phone at the same time. When discussing with your colleagues and customers over a call, you can doodle on the screen. You can divert calls between a range of devices including, tablets, speakers, and smart TVs, and even use drones and motion cameras to share videos in real-time. This platform, further enhanced with EMUI 11, allows users to access it in more markets.

Huawei MeeTime provides low-light enhancement, so if you are frustrated that nighttime video calls are too dark, then enable the onscreen light bulb icon to illuminate your surroundings and bring new details to light at all hours.

Huawei MeeTime is supported on the following devices; Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei P40 Pro+, Huawei Mate 30, Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, Huawei MatePad Pro, Huawei MatePad Pro 5G, Huawei Mate 40, Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Huawei Mate 40 Pro+, and Huawei Mate 40 RS.

Some of the top features of Huawei MeeTime are that it supports video calling at resolutions of up to 1080p (Full HD) with 1920 x 1080 pixels, and thanks to the built-in optimizations, it can maintain that video resolution even with weak cellular or Wi-Fi receptions. While Huawei MeeTime is a proprietary technology that is limited to Huawei devices, they are encouraging third-party vendors to integrate their devices.

Huawei MeeTime dynamically adapts to changes in bandwidth and uses super-resolution technology to compensate for the loss of video quality, in real-time. In addition, it uses the Link Turbo technology to dynamically switch between Wi-Fi and L TE to deliver the best possible speeds, without interruption. In addition to only working on Huawei devices, Huawei MeeTime requires you to sign in with a Huawei ID, and to assuage concerns of privacy, all calls are encrypted end-to-end by default. This guarantees that no one else can listen in to your conversations.

Huawei, the leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, is committed to bringing digital technologies to every person, home, and organization for a fully connected, intelligent world.
