Axiata Digital Labs (ADL) is pleased to announce the addition of Zeenath Sathar and Amith Wijayasooriya to their Senior Leadership Team.

Zeenath Sathar joins as the Head of HR with Amith Wijayasooriya spearheading ADL’s Sales and Business Development functions. Both of these appointments bring valuable industry experience to the company that was founded on principles of innovation, disruption, and radical growth.

The new appointees join Uresh Duminduwardena, Vice President and Head of Digital Core; Namal Jayathilake, Vice President and Head of Emerging Technology; Ahmed Riza, Vice President and Head of Finance; the newly promoted Sanharsha Jayatissa, Vice President and Head of Operations, and Shifan Saleem, Vice President and Head of Client Services; and Chandima Wijekoon, Country Head of Indonesia.
Zeenath Sathar, Head of Human Resources
Zeenath Sathar has over 20 years of experience as an HR professional, of which 17 years were spent in the IT/ITES industry. She is skilled in people development, employee engagement, talent acquisition, HR policies, managing automation projects, compensation and benefits, and mergers and acquisitions. Zeenath joins ADL after six years at ShipXpress,(former General Electric Company). Zeenath’s prior experience includes Amba Research (former Moody’s company), Virtusa and Lanka Equities. Zeenath will spearhead ADL’s People & Culture initiatives in its endeavour to becoming the employer of choice in the digital engineering industry.

Amith Wijayasooriya, Vice President and Head of Sales
Amith Wijayasooriya has over 20 years of professional sales, marketing, company management, and business development expertise. He comes to us from Sysco Labs, where he was Director Of Sales. Amith formerly worked as a Senior Account Manager at WSO2, a Sales Manager at John Keells Computer Services, and a Business Manager at Lanka Bell.
Amith will lead ADL’s sales and business development team and be ultimately responsible for driving the organisation’s sales strategy, with a primary emphasis on driving and accelerating revenue development by conceptualizing and capturing new markets, as well as increasing current base.
